About

Welcome to the Barbie Cinematic Universe, everyone!

My name is Crescent, and I’ll be your guide to the wonderful world of Barbie animated movies! I’ve seen all of the animated Barbie movies multiple times now, and I absolutely adore this franchise. I grew up with it, but beyond that, I just love these films. Even without nostalgia, I think they’re a nice bit of fun and a break from daily life. I want to use the knowledge I have to review and rank all of the Barbie movies for any potential fans of the franchise.

The goal of this website is to review and rank each of the animated Barbie movies that have been released since 2001. There are a lot of movies, and most people won’t know which are worth their time or which should be passed over. Seeing a list of over forty movies on Wikipedia is bound to be intimidating. This site will help you to sort the good and the bad so you can figure out which movies you want to watch if you’re venturing into the Barbie cinematic universe for the first time or on a repeat visit. Hopefully, you’ll walk away with a better understanding of the movies and a comprehensive list of recommendations of what to watch among the 42 films.

There will be two primary post types on this site: review and ranking. The former will contain all of my reviews for the various movies in this franchise. I’ll be reviewing them in release order starting with 2001 and moving forward from there. My review system will be explained in a bit more detail in the start page for the review category. From there, I’ll be ranking all of the movies from best to worst using the numbers my reviews produce. There is a master page with all of the movies ranked in order, and that is the hub of the ranking category. There’s also an in-depth page explaining why I ranked all of the movies the way I did with review links.

Last but not least, each individual page will have a comment section for anyone interested in leaving their own thoughts on the movies. I welcome different opinions and discussion, and I’d love to hear from all of you.

Without further ado, let the magical quest to review these movies begin!
